Customer Service Advisory – Tropical Depression Pepeng LUZON AREA DELAY

Please be informed that Central and Northern Luzon provinces are experiencing heavy rains since last Friday brought by Tropical Depression Pepeng. Curently, our Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan agents and Baguio hauler cannot deliver our boxes due to heavy rains and floods.
As per PAGASA : Signal #1 was hoisted over Cagayan, Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Benguet, La Union, Pangasinan, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, Bataan and Bulacan.
Some areas in Metro Manila are also flooded. Some major roads and bridges in Ilocos Sur, Cagayan, Isabela, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Aurora, Tarlac, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna, Apayao, Kalinga, MountainProvince, Abra, Benguet, Ifugao and Occidental Mindoro are not passable due to flood or landslide.
In view of this, we might experience delay in delivery of boxes going to affected areas until further notice.

Sept 3, 2009 shipment eta Manila Sept 27 is affected by typhoon Ondoy that hit the Philippines and caused delay in the delivery to various parts of the country.
MANILA, Philippines—As many areas of Metro Manila remained without power Sunday, rescuers plucked bodies from muddy floodwaters and scrambled to save drenched survivors on rooftops after Storm “Ondoy” left 73 people dead in a strike across the region.
Nearly 300,000 people were affected by the storm, including some 47,000 who were brought to schools, churches and other evacuation shelters, officials said.
Education officials suspended classes at all levels on Monday and Tuesday in Metro Manila and Rizal province.
Manila Electric Co. said that as of noon, about one million Meralco customers—or about one-fifth of its total number of customers—were still without electricity.

Dec. 3rd shipment delays due to flood

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — Floods caused by intermittent rains since Friday afternoon swamped low-lying villages in the key southern cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan on Saturday, officials said.
Among the barangays hardest hit in Cagayan de Oro were Carmen, Macasandig, Tibasak, as well as villages along Burgos Street, Consolacion, Macabalan, and Gusa.
In Iligan, the areas affected were barangays Mahayahay, Tambacan, and sitio Manuang, where four houses were reportedly washed away or damaged, while in Bayug Island in Hinaplanon were trapped due to high waters while th sea waters are on high tide.
